Any Tips For A First Time Car Buyer? (mostly Worried About Getting Ripped Off)?

I guess I’m worried about getting ripped off from car dealers. I’ve never bought a new car before. Can you guys tell me some important pointers to look out for? Or some important things to consider before and after the purchase? I’m thinking about getting a new Honda Accord. Maybe 07 or newer.
