I Live In The Bay Area, California. I Am A First-time Home Buyer. I Have Excellent Credit..?

(750+). My monthly income is 3000. I am interested in buying a condo (7 years old) which is priced at 399,900 and I am planning to put 5% down. I have met with two lenders..Lender A suggested 2 loans (to avoid paying the PMI) and Lender B suggested 1 loan. I would like to keep my mortgage payments as low as possible, and plan to live there for about 5-7 years. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

First Time Home Buyer Information?

My fiancee and I are looking into buying our first home. I have no knowledge on where to start, what to look for, or how to go about it. I’ve been told there are loans you can get as a first time home buyer that doesn’t require any money down. I make 25,000/year (+overtime) and my fiance makes 20,000/year. Anyone have any ideas on how big of a loan we could get. Any tips and advice is appreciated. Thank you.

I Need Help….i Am Trying To Buy A Home. How Do I Know If I Qualify For A First Time Buyer?

It’s simple!
Call a lender and they will pre-approve you.
They will take your information, income, credit, etc…and calculate if you qualify, and if so, how much.
Lenders will do this for free.
There are even No Money Down programs so you can keep your cash in the bank, and less than perfect credit is ok, but you need a good job.

Divorced In 08- Filing As Head Of Household. Whats My Income Cap To Get 8k First Time Home Buyer Credit ?

i know the income cap to get the 8k tax credit if filing single is 95k. if i got divorced in dec 08 and filing as head of household the cap for the credit is still 95k or it moves up to 150k ?

Its realy not as hard as you think. Everyone has to start somewhere, every home owner was at one point a FTHB. My advice would be to talk to a mortgage professional to outline your options depending on your credit and income. There are literally hundreds of loan programs that you will fit into. After you know where you sit financialy, and are pre-qulified you can start looking for a home.

Talk to a real estate agent. They want to sell houses and a good agent would know how to help everyone interested in buying. Plus, most of those types of programs are probably local so it would be difficult to answer you question here since we don’t know where you are located.
