I bought a fixer-upper. I never lived in it or rented it. I made many improvements and repairs to the property. I also incurred expenses when I sold the property about 8 months later. Where do I report the expenses and gains from the sale on my income taxes?
I want to buy my own house now but my credit shows I have a mortgage and a lender says the only way to get it removed is for my dad to refinance the house. I know that’s one way to do it.
I also know if there’s another way to do it they won’t tell me coz they want my dad to have their loan, what other ways I can do that?
Is writting a letter to the bureaus get it removed?

I plan on buying a home in the Sacramento area in about a year. I currently have a student loan for about 26,000 with an 8% interest rate. Am I better off asking for extra money on my mortgage to pay the loan off or wait for the home to build up equity and use that?

Someone told me if I borrow against my 401k to put money on a house that the withdrawl won’t be taxed as heavily as it would if I just borrowd it to spend it is that true?

A mortgage company want’s to finance just enough for the purchase the home. Is that standard practice or not?
Do they depreciate the property? How do they calculate it if they do? Had a plasma tv, movado watch, PS3, bluray movies, and video games stolen. How do they determine their value, and is it negotiable if i don’t think it’s enough? Thanks.
In Jan. 2008 I filed Ch. 13 in a frantic attempt to keep my home. In the end, I ended up losing the property due to raising ARMs. I am still in the Ch. 13 and am wondering if I couldn’t switch to a Ch.7 instead? If I do switch to a chapter 7 can my mortgage debt be included in the Chapter 7 or can they go after the co-signor at that point?
