Im wondering if anyone knows if environmental quality has an impact, and how much of an impact when compared to other factors e.g. schools etc.
I have read the contract and it says that the mortgage is secured against the foreign property (however it is unsecured). Does this mean that the mortgage company has no right to my UK property?
Simply people owe more on their house than it is now worth. Ex) Say you bought a house 2 years ago for 400,000 by taking out a mortgage. But because housing prices have declined quite a bit in the last two years your house if you tried to sell if may only be worth 350,000. In essence then you lost 50,000…minus any mortgage payments you’d of made to your bank…..So basically you owe more than what you’d make off your house if you sold it and hence…..negative wealth.

Foreclosures mean houses for sale. Houses for sale means more supply. More supply means prices drop.
I’m in the first steps of buying a condo, and I’m a bit confused as to what a larger/smaller down payment actually does to the mortgage payment. In all of the mortgage payment calculators I’ve gone to online, increasing or decreasing the down payment has no effect on the monthly payment and only decreases the term. I am confused because I set the term to 30 years, but its still changing the life of the loan.
I think this will vary locally, depending on the market – specifically, whether the town in question experienced a new-build buy-to-let boom. One city which recently saw developers endlessly throw-up ghastly new apartment complexes for ‘young professionals’ was Manchester. Hence, there is now an over-supply in Manchester and rents are relatively low for a city of its size and importance.
My dad passed away without “properly” funding his trust. We found a form with his trust titled “assignment & transfer of peronal property to revocable living trust” that states he transferred all his property to the trust. If he did not draw a new deed stating the trust owns the property, does this form help at all to void probate? What is it for?

How long do you have to build up credit for? Do you need to have maintained a certain amount of money in the bank for a certain period of time? Basically any info you can give me on getting a mortgage in Canada would be much appreciated; I might be relocating to Ottawa and could use all the help I can get!
Our mortgage company gave us until January 10 to pay a certain amount of money. They said if its not paid by that date they will accelerate the loan. What exactly does that mean?
