What’s The Difference Between Not Having Your Name On A Deed But Your Name On The Mortgage?

My fiance owned a house about five yrs ago and was renting it out in Florida. Major repairs needed to be done on it and she couldn’t afford to make them. So she asked for a gentleman’s help. He agreed only to do this if his name was on the deed to make sure he was payed back. The problem she has is that she wants to buy another house but her credit report shows he pays the mortgage late 30 days every month. Is it his house since his name is on the deed or is it her house cause it’s her mortgage, or is it both there houses? And can he sell the house without her knowledge?

I am in the process of buying out my brother through a quit-claim deed. Just curious as to how I can get out of re-assessing my property taxes.
The house was purchased in 1999, so the value is substantially less than it is now.

I am on the mortgage and the deed. I am willing to sign the house over. Just to relsolve the relationship. How can I do this? He won’t sign anything. And he won’t agree to it. We can sell the property but he won’t help in the prep or the sale. I make very little a year and can not afford the house on my own. I have a young child thankfully not to him. He is not abusive physically but he is emotionally and mentally but I can not prove it.
Help Help. I just want out. I have an excellent credit rating 800 I don’t want to file BK. I am very credit worthy. I just want my daughter and I to be able to move out.

How Do I Transfer My Parents House Deed To Me And Escape Inheritance/capital Gains?

Myself and my son (8) has moved into my parents house to build an annex on the side (it’s a corner plot bungalow) for myself and my son to live in, the reason for this is two fold, as there is no easy way for a single parent to get on the property ladder and also my father has had a couple of heart episodes and I need to be closer and on hand for my mums sake also, basically my parents are worried that to build the annex would mean putting the house deeds in my name because of the mortgage which would mean I could incur capital gains or inheritance taxes. Can anyone tell me the answer as i’ve looked around and seen so many different answers to this?!!! Help!

What Is The Best Deed To Use To Transfer A Property Title Between Family Members?

My father-in-law has a piece of lake property that he owns which he would like to transfer to my wife and I. There will be no sale, just a transfer of ownership. What type of deed best suits this sort of transaction? The property is in Minnesota if that makes a difference. I need to get this done before June 1st, so we are in a bit of a hurry. There should be no issues with anyone else having any interest in the property, just a transfer from him to us. Thanks.

How Can A Person Or Persons Be Removed From A Property Deed In The State Of Florida?

If someone who owns a property added multiple people within the family to the deed to a property and due to a family fued, wants them off the deed & they refuse (of course) to sign quit claim deeds does a person have any legal options to have them removed? For instance they do not pay property taxes, they don’t live there and have never contributed to the upkeep of the property which includes multiple houses.
