Is There Any Way To Add Another Person’s Income In A Mortgage Application Without Them Being A Co-applicant?

Hello…
I will be prequalifying for a mortgage in February. I have very good credit but don’t make enough money for me to qualify for the mortgage amount I want. The person that will be living with me and helping to pay the mortgage has terrible credit, but if we could combine our incomes we could get the house we want. Is there any way of having both incomes and only my credit considered? The other person is not a spouse and I am planning on applying with Bank of America. Maybe someone who was in the same situation can help. Thanks in advance

I am aware that as a first time homebuyer there are government programs to help me with downpayment assistance, etc. Do these government programs apply to foreclosed property, or do I need to purchase a home instead of going through the foreclosures to qualify for gov. assistance???

So my wife and I are in search for our first home. We were thinking of taking advantage of those first time home buyer loans that allow you to put less than 20% down. However, my wife is currently a cosigner on her parent’s house with her sister. Does that disqualify her from being a “first time home buyer?”

The recession was caused by people being unable to pay back their home mortgages because the mortgage rates were too high?
Banks were not getting their money back from home owners, causing a credit crunch, thus they were unable to lend money to big businesses.
Big businesses then had to cut back on expenses and began to lay people off the the thousands.
So what caused the mortgage rates to go up so high that started this financial mess in the first place?

I’m Being Sued For Money That I Don’t Have, How Do They Get Blood Out Of A Stone?

My parents gifted me some money, after they remortgaged their house, so that I could pay off my debts, and also get onto the property ladder. I’ve been paying towards my parents mortgage for years and pay all the utility bills, so I think it is a fair deal.
My father whilst on holiday a few months later left his business to his partner to look after, he took it into bankruptcy, and now the law firm acting for the trustees have said that I owe them this money! And are about to issue me with legal proceedings.
They say I am violation of section 339 and 340 of the Insolvency Act.
I never managed buy a house, just pay off debts, my father was the sole bread winner in the houses, so I took over the role, so I don’t have any money left over.
Can they get any money out of me if I have none, and if my expenses each month are so high that I am barely left with any money at the end of the month?
Not being a lawyer, I don’t know the legal ins and outs but the rational common sense part of me says that I have every right to keep the money.

So…all you thwarted and stood on first time buyers (English, of course) who are trying to get your feet on the shaky ladder within a six mile radius of, say (let’s be naughty) Buckingham Palace…there is someone who f-e-e-l-s your pain. Respect!

A man there that seemed to be my partner did not want me to go home and we seemed to be trapped somewhere with our feet in water, later on my children seemed to just go off and started getting on with the fact that we had to stay. My children are 23 17 and 7. My partner does live abroad.

How Can I Make My Husband See He Is Being Unreasonable?

We have been married three years and my husband is desperate to get on the property ladder. He is obsessed with money and saving that im starting to really dislike him.
We rent a beautiful house and the rent is cheap, and my husband is on a massive wage, yet he wants us to move out and move into a rented bedroom to save more money. I cant bear the situation and the pressure he has put our marraige under. He threatens to leave and rent a room himself but he never does. I love our home so much, and if he leaves i will have to leave too as im not on a big wage like him and cant afford to rent it on my own.
He was not like this at the begining, and i feel sick with worry. He will not listen to reason at all. Im nearly 30 and I dont want to live in a bedroom. I think a trial seperation would be the answer as I need time to decide if this is what I want anymore.
This has been going on for a year. He wont budge on this, and neither will I. please help x
